Varicose veins are large, bulging veins in the leg. They are caused by weakness of the tiny one-way valves inside the vein. When these valves weaken, blood can pool in the lower leg and put pressure on the small veins causing them to dilate.

Minimal Fuss

SVI treats varicose veins with an incision the size of a pencil tip. This minimally-invasive procedure usually requires only a local anesthetic and can be performed on an out-patient basis. That means no overnight stay in the hospital.
